CLUB RESULTS: 2016 Skeet Bonanza

The Committee & Members welcomed many Interstate & local Guests to this weekend with 11 Squads competing in the 2 day event.

Weather was 'bearable' on Saturday but Sunday brought horrific conditions but all competitors still managed to complete the program.

Those camping at the Club managed to stay safe and suffer no damage during the strong storm that rocked the area during the night.

The MGC Committee wishes to express their appreciation to Paul Johnston and his helpers who made this event a success again.  Lot of organising is required and Paul and his group worked hard to ensure it ran smoothly.

A big thank you is also extended to Stephanie Manley for her photographic expertise in providing the photos of the event.

CLUB RESULTS: 23/04/2016

During the week, the aqua seeding of our grounds was commenced and along with some most welcome rain that fell, made for a great grass growing time.  Unfortunately the committee and members who assisted did not have time to sit back and watch it grow.  Busy, busy, busy was the order of the day with the Club hosting another successful Come & Try Day, Corporate Function and competition program.

Welcome back was extended to the 8 students from Hutchins College (Hobart) and their teachers who had attended the 'Yarra Valley School Boys / Girls Shoot' on Thursday and returned to compete in the DTL program.

The MGC Skeet Bonanza will be held on Saturday 30th April and Sunday 1st May 2016.  Click here for the Skeet Bonanza shoot program or see Paul Johnston for additional information.
